I Promise

Youth is happy because it has the capacity to see beauty.  Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old. (Franz Kafka)
The world is an ugly, awful place not to have a best friend.  (Sarah Dessen)
This is your youth, dollface.  Whether you party it up or not, live with no regrets.  Life is too short for those.
I will always jump with you <3
One day we'll be little old women with cats who live together because our husbands have passed away.  It may sound morbid, but I know I'm going to enjoy those days immensely.
Explore.
Wonder.
Be yourself, in all your brilliance.  The world will love you for it!
The world is at your fingertips.  Discover it.
How you turn my world, you precious thing.
Every now and again in my life--for no reason at all--I need you.  All of you.
Best friend, I'll love you forever.

Toking and Typing

Over the next few days, I'm going to be partaking in various activities while I'm high and while I'm sober.  The two challenges I've set up--one of which I completed today--are a typing test and Angry Birds.  Go ahead, laugh.  I just wanted to observe myself while doing things I love.  There's a website called www.play.typeracer.com and this is the site I used to track my typing progress.

My Easter

First off, I'd like to say that I love this holiday.  Jesus, food, and family--what's not to love?  This morning, after almost a million years of not going, I went to church.  And it was honestly one of the best experiences I've had this year.  There is nothing more beautiful or encouraging than a room full of people who worship together.  I'm one of those people who prefer worship to the preaching because it's my time to express my love for God in any way I see fit.  It's a very liberating experience, to say the least.  There was this man in the front of the congregation who was sort of doing interpretive dances to the songs.  I'm not sure who actually wrote the song, but there's a song titled "I am Free" and one of the lyrics are "I am free to dance."  This is the perfect lyric to describe the man who was dancing.  He was worshiping God with his entire heart, without a care about who was watching him.  It was beauty personified.
